Hyrox Training Club

Train for the race.

HUSTLE is an official Hyrox Training Club in South Jakarta — race-spec equipment, certified coaches, and a programme built around the eight stations. Whether you’re registered for a race or just want the fitness Hyrox builds, the room’s been waiting for you.

What is Hyrox?

Hyrox is a global fitness race format that pairs 8 kilometres of running with 8 functional fitness stations, all done on standardised equipment, finished on a tracked time. No bodyweight movements, no tricks — just running plus eight measurable, repeatable stations. The format has exploded since 2017 and is now the fastest-growing fitness sport worldwide, with races across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia. Races run year-round in Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, and increasingly in Indonesia. Anyone fit enough can finish; the format is designed so beginners can complete a race and elite athletes have something to chase.

The eight stations

  1. 01

    SkiErg

1,000 metres on a SkiErg ergometer — full-body pulling pattern, sets the heart rate floor for the rest of the race.

  2. 02

    Sled Push

50 metres pushing a loaded sled — quad and glute dominant, technique under fatigue is the differentiator.

  3. 03

    Sled Pull

50 metres pulling a loaded sled hand-over-hand — pulls together grip, hamstrings, and lower back.

  4. 04

    Burpee Broad Jumps

80 metres of burpee-to-broad-jump — every athlete's least-favourite station, and where most races are won or lost.

  5. 05

    Rowing

1,000 metres on a Concept2 rower — the longest single working bout, paced to the breath.

  6. 06

    Farmers Carry

200 metres carrying two kettlebells — grip endurance and trunk control under load.

  7. 07

    Sandbag Lunges

100 metres of walking lunges with a sandbag racked on the shoulders — leg burn at maximum.

  8. 08

    Wall Balls

75–100 wall balls to a target — the final station; brutal on legs, lungs, and shoulders.

Between every station: a 1-kilometre run. Eight runs, eight stations. One clock.

How HUSTLE trains for Hyrox

Functional classes at HUSTLE include Hyrox-specific blocks year-round — sled push and pull, sandbag lunges, wall balls, ski erg intervals, rowing pieces, farmers carries. The programming runs in 4-6 week blocks with progressive intensity, so consecutive weeks build on each other instead of recycling the same workouts. For members training toward a specific race, our coach team layers in race-pace simulation sessions in the weeks before the event, plus run-conditioning work tuned to your race distance and fitness level.

You don’t need to be a Hyrox athlete to benefit from the programme. Hyrox-style training builds the kind of complete fitness most other formats only chase: aerobic capacity, muscular endurance, full-body strength, and the ability to hold technique while tired. Race or no race, this work makes every other workout feel different.

Equipment & setup

The Functional floor is built to race spec. SkiErg, Concept2 rowers, race-weight sleds, kettlebells matching official Hyrox weights (24kg men, 16kg women, with scaling options either side), wall ball targets at the official 9ft / 10ft heights, and sandbags through the official weight scale (10kg through 30kg). The space is laid out so a full race-pace simulation can run without rearranging the room — which is rare for a gym this size and rare in Jakarta full stop.

Hyrox FAQ

What is Hyrox?
Hyrox is a global fitness race format combining 8 kilometres of running with 8 functional fitness stations — no bodyweight, all standardised equipment, finished on a tracked time. Races run worldwide; the Indonesian race calendar grows every year. It's the fastest-growing fitness sport in the world.
What does it mean that HUSTLE is an "official Hyrox Training Club"?
Hyrox certifies gyms that meet equipment, programming, and coaching standards as Official Training Clubs. Members of certified clubs train on race-spec equipment, follow Hyrox-aligned programming, and have access to a coach team that knows the race format. HUSTLE is one of a small number of certified clubs in Indonesia.
Do I need to be racing to train Hyrox?
No. Hyrox-style training builds strong general fitness — running endurance plus functional strength — that benefits anyone, race or no race. Most members who follow our Hyrox programme do it because the training is excellent, not because they're registered for an event.
How do I train for a Hyrox race at HUSTLE?
Take Functional classes 3-4 times per week (they include Hyrox-specific blocks: sled work, sandbag movements, ski erg intervals, wall balls). Add 1-2 Ride sessions for running-replacement cardio if you can't run outdoors that week. Closer to a race, the coaching team adds race-pace simulation sessions. Talk to a coach about your race date and we'll structure your block.
When are the next Hyrox races in Indonesia?
Hyrox publishes race dates on hyrox.com. Indonesian and regional races (Singapore, Bangkok, Manila) tend to fill fast. We post upcoming race blocks on our Instagram (@hustlehouse.id). Members training for a race get priority booking on race-pace sessions.
Do you have all the official Hyrox equipment?
Yes. SkiErg, Concept2 rower, race-spec sleds, kettlebells matching official weights (men: 24kg; women: 16kg, with options either side), wall ball targets at official heights, and sandbags ranging through the official weight scale. The room is built for the race.
